Charles River
TMA offers several options for commuters looking to share the ride
in a carpool or vanpool. Carpools offer a chance for several
individuals to share their ride to work using their own vehicles,
while vanpools serve up to 15 commuters.

Vanpools
 Vanpools are a great option for commuters traveling long
distances (usually 50 miles or more).
Vanpools offer
quick, direct service, while still offering considerable cost
savings over drive-alone commuting.
Currently,
there are several vanpools directly serving Cambridge with open
seats. There are also many more vanpools which serve downtown Red
Line stations, providing quick access to the Kendall Square area, as
well as vans serving North Station, accessible to Cambridge via our EZRide Shuttle.
